DATA & TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS PROJECTS Tuckers were involved with the specification and supervision of data and telecommunications networks for relocations in Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Athens and Madrid for British Airways. Specification and supervision of data and telecommunications networks for British Airways Sales Shop developments in Frankfurt, Milan & Rome. Tuckers were also responsible for the specification and supervision of the network installation at the Flyline, Bremen development, a building for up to 300 telephone sales operators.
Tuckers Consultancy were the consultants for the British Telecom Paris projects in France - our British Telecom approved appointment involved the complete design, tender and supervision of the engineering based systems to support new equipment rooms and offices. Tuckers have also worked on BT projects in Paris, Zurich, Geneva, Marseilles, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Toulouse and Le Havre. Co-ordination of data and telecoms links for expansion of the leading Venture Capital company Cinven, into mainland Europe. Technology included “thin client” data network and high speed transmissions for real time AV presentations in London, Paris and Frankfurt. Co-ordination of data and telecommunications requirements for relocations of trading and general office facilities for Salomon Brothers in Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Milan and Frankfurt. Specification of requirements for off-site data centre service in London. Co-ordination of data and telecommunications requirements for relocations of trading and general office facilities for Lehman Brothers in Paris, Geneva and Frankfurt. Specification and project management of upgrade of telecoms/data infrastructure for Qantas Airways European call centre located in Hammersmith. The project included the replacement and integration of the PABX and data processing facilities, together with a complete new building cabling network. DATA AND TELECOMS EXPERTISE Ability to survey proposed sites and evaluate potential restrictions and costs. Ability to transfer Corporate requirements and standards to Mainland European sites. Full understanding of standard documentation, reporting systems and security equipment. Conversant with current trends in cable systems, back-up systems, risk management and monitoring. |
